I found something on my report that is not accurate. What should I do?


Info Cubic maintains strict procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of all the data we report. However, if you notice something on your report that is inaccurate or incomplete, there are steps you can take.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have the right to dispute the accuracy or completeness of any information contained in your background report. Info Cubic will conduct a thorough reinvestigation on your behalf. You may submit the request in one of several ways:

  • By filling out the electronic form Here
  • By visiting and navigating to Applicant Resources, and choosing Reinvestigation Request
  • By calling us directly at 877-360-4636

Once the dispute is filed, Info Cubic has 30 calendar days to complete the reinvestigation process; however, we take these issues very seriously and treat them with the utmost urgency, so generally complete them sooner than 30 days. While not required, any documentation that you would like to provide to assist in the reinvestigation will be welcomed and considered.

After the reinvestigation is complete, you and your potential employer will be notified of the results in writing. You may also, at any time, place a brief statement on your report if you wish to do so.
